A Few Problems

hi i have a year 2000 x reg galaxy TDI (first of the newer shape) and i have a few small niggling problems

 

*1 the L.E.D door light some times flashes when im driving

 

*2 theres is a little speaker like box in the left hand side cubby box in the boot (where the rear light bulb access is) and iv noticed a clicking sound coming from it when im driving or braking im not 100% certain but i think the speaker box is to do with the parking sencors which dont work

 

*3 the fog light warning light comes on the dash board lights up when i press the brake pedal which in turn lights up the rear fog lights

 

*4 the passanger side front window doesnt work off the switch it will work from the duel switch on the drivers side and i have looked for broken wires in the door shut but cant see any

 

*5 sometimes when the car is being driven the turbo seems to go in to limp mode and the car wont rev above 2500-3000 rpm any ideas on the cuase and how to fix the problem?

 

*6 the bonnet release cable has stretched i think as you need to pull the bonnet up while pulling the bonnet release handle how hard are the cables to change?

 

i know it seems there are loads of problems with the car but they are just a few small niggles that look like a lot but arnt major (i hope)

Check for broken chafed or shorting wiring in tailgate gaiter and all other door gaiters but more so drivers door.

The limp mode problem you need to scan with vagcom to see if you have over or under boost, the symptoms are the same but cure different.

 

The small speaker in the rear is for the rear sensors, you will find another for the front under the front passenger seat, also the control module, check for water damage here caused by the rear washer pipe becoming detached under the front footwell

thinking about the rear parking sensor i had some wet hedge trimmings in the back so it stands a chance that its got wet
